HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am a college student. My laptop is essential for what I do and I was trusting in HP and their laptops to purchase a very very expensive laptop from them and maintain the warranty. Now just 13 months after I bought it while closing the lid down the hinges jammed and popped apart. I’ve called HP support twice under complete warranty to ask them about repairs and both times I was told that it is not covered and will be upwards of $300 to repair. I’m genuinely scared I don’t know what to do and I never could imagine HP would be so predatory to do that to a completely loyal customer. I need help is there anyone who this has happened to that knows of a decent repair service and or a better laptop to buy? Is this a common fault of HP?
