Hi @Jaideep24,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP MPP Tilt Pen 2.0 is experiencing intermittent charging and functionality issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check the Battery/Charge:

  • Make sure the stylus is properly seated when charging.
  • Try using a different charger or USB port, as there may be an issue with the power source.
  • Let the pen charge for a few hours to ensure it's fully powered.

Restart the Device:

  • Sometimes restarting your laptop or tablet can help re-establish the connection between the pen and the device.

Check for Driver/Software Updates:

  • Update Firmware: Go to HP's support page and check if there are any firmware updates available for the stylus or for your laptop.
  • Windows Ink Settings: Check in Windows settings (Windows Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink) to see if the stylus is properly recognized and functional.

Pair the Pen Again (If Applicable):

  • If your stylus is paired via Bluetooth, try unpairing and re-pairing the stylus in Settings > Bluetooth & Devices.

Inspect the Stylus for Physical Damage:

  • Check for any visible damage to the charging port, or tip of the stylus, which might be affecting its functionality.

Reset the Stylus (If Possible):

  • Some HP stylus models have a reset button. Check the manual or HP support to see if your model can be reset.

Test on a Different Device (If Available):

  • If possible, try using the stylus on a different compatible HP device to rule out any hardware issues with the laptop or stylus.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
