Hi @sauravbir,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding driver for your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
For your HP Notebook - 15q-ds0000tu running Windows 11 Pro (64-bit), you need to install the correct Touchpad Driver.
Download & Install Synaptics/ELAN Touchpad Driver
- Go to HP’s Official Website:
HP Support - Drivers & Software - Enter your laptop model: HP Notebook - 15q-ds0000tu
- Look for "Input Devices" or "Touchpad" Driver
- If available, download Synaptics Touchpad Driver or ELAN Touchpad Driver.
- Install the driver and restart your laptop.
Install Touchpad Driver via Windows Update
- Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
- Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
- Right-click on Synaptics/ELAN Touchpad (or any unknown device).
- Click Update Driver > Search automatically for drivers.
- Restart your laptop after installation.
Enable Touchpad in Windows Settings
- Go to Settings (Win + I) > Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad.
- Check if the touchpad is enabled.
Use HP Support Assistant
- Download HP Support Assistant:
👉 HP Support Assistant - Install & run it.
- It will automatically detect missing drivers and update them.
Let me know how it goes.
