I had noticed a few days ago that my HP true vision webcam wasn't working, that is when I'd click on the camera button-I'd get an error code message-0xA00F4271(0x80070005) When I'd click on the icon on the desktop it would work.

A few minutes ago, it was working for me.  It's hit and miss.

I did try a few things, like using regedit and making an entry in the regisry, that did nothing.

I have not idea as to why the camera that has worked in the past was not working consistently.

 Any help would be appreciated.
