My zoom changes by it self

HP Recommended

My laptop changes the zoom by itself.  It has happen since I received this laptop for christmas.  Now it not charging right. The screen goes blank.

I see from the post that you are having issues with your HP notebook. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What is the product number of this computer? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...) http://hp.care/2bygf7l

What is the Operating System installed on the PC?

Have you tried to update the drivers?

When was the last time it worked (date)?

 

In the meantime, let's work on one issue at a time,

 

Please Click Here to find the steps involved in disabling the pinch zoom feature of your Notebook (The above link is 3rd party and is not owned by HP, I've posted this only so that I may help you resolve this issue by going beyond by support boundaries, please ignore the ads and take only the free suggestions)

 

Next thing, regarding the charging issue, let's try these steps here:

 

Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.

Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.

Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,

Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.

 

I would suggest please update the BIOS on your PC and check if it helps.

 

Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

 

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

 

Also, Go through them all and let me know what you have determined is causing the issue. The first document has the most relevant troubleshooting if your battery appears to be not charging.
