Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (9R7K5AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

new laptop 15-dy5033DX, I cannot get it to recognize an external monitor.  I incorrectly bought the USB C Dock G5 and realized this PC's USB port doesn't work for PCs  So I directly connected a monitor to the PC via HDMI cable and it is still not recognized.  I am trying to detect via the settings and its not finding it.  ANY options?

 

Also I need a dock for 2 external monitors that connects via HDMI, I can't find anything

I was looking at getting a USB c female to HDMI adapter to use the HP dock in the HDMI port.  Not sure if that will work
