HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15t-df100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have a Razer Core X equipped with an RTX 3060 Ti GPU plugged into one of my HP Spectre's Thunderbolt ports via a 40 GB/100Watt TB3/TB4 cable.

According to HWinfo64, I am getting a 2.5GT/s connection, both when idle and at full GPU load, connected to the Razer Core X eGPU. I ran some bechmarks and played a couple games, and the bandwidth never budged above 2.5 GT/s

For comparison, my Laptop's on-board GTX 1650 MaxQ GPU is showing as 8.0 GT/S.

Does that sound right? Should I be getting a higher bandwidth with the TB3 connection to my Razer Core than 2.5 GT/s? Or is that the maximum it'll transfer? I have nothing else plugged into any other ports. Thanks.

All HP machines with Thunderbolt™ 3 port will support 40Gb bandwidth.
