Nvidia graphics card troubleshoot.

HP ENVY 15-j101ex Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I spent 2 days browsing for a solution before posting this.

My Nvidia graphics card just disappeared. It's gone from the device manager as well.

I've tried every solution posted on this forums and on Nvidia and every other website. Didn't work.

When I start installing through GeForce, or a direct download from HP drivers support I get an 'No compatible hardware was found' message.

Tried unisntalling Nvidia and reinstalling windows and intel chipsets.

Tried the DDU program.

Tried everything.

Nvidia graphics card troubleshoot.

Check to ensure that Windows 10 did not update itself before this happened.

You may be able to resolve the issue by using  Windows System Restore.  Choose a restore checkpoint dated before this began.

Windows System Restore is completely reversible and will not delete your data.

Hi, thanks for replying.

I did try that and it didn't work.

I just finished restoring my laptop to factory settings. Now I'm running windows 8 again. The Nvidia settings option is there but it still can't detect the graphics card. And it's not showing in device manager either. Guess I wasted my windows 10.

Which order did you try installing the graphics adapter drivers?

Was it Intel first and then NVIDIA or the other way around?

I just finished installing Intel first, rebooting, then tried Nvidia. Didn't work.
