I'd like to help!
I can see that there is a small black spot on your screen, so I would request you to perform the below steps:
- Connect an external monitor to check if the dots persists.
- You may also observe this on the BIOS screen:
- Turn off the computer, press the power button, and then repeatedly press the F10 key. Normally, the HP splash screen displays press F10 to enter the BIOS just before the BIOS menu opens.
- If the black spot does not appear on the BIOS that indicates it is not a hardware issue but instead a graphic driver issue.
- Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Also, check for any pending windows updates. Reboot the computer.
