Pavillion X360 14cd0 Touch screen sudden defect

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community,

unfortunateley my touchscreen suddenly stopped working and is not reacting at all. It also does not work in the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI touchscreen component check (deleting the boxes while touching them).

I tried re-installing the driver via the windows device manager -> HDI Touchscreen, but it did not work.

The display has noc cracks, white spots or other damages..

I am using a HP Pavillion X360 Convertible 14 cd0.

Do you have any hints on how to get the touchscreen work again?

Many thanks and kind regards.

Sven

@Enthusiast22

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchscreen is not working on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

As you have mentioned that the touchscreen is not working in the hardware diagnostics windows as well that would confirm a hardware failure as hardware diagnostics is outside Windows.

I recommend you contact support and check for the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
