Pen Issue with laptop

HP Recommended
HP Spectre 13" 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought an HP Spectre 360 which came with an active pen. From the beginning and after several times of having the people at Best Buy work on it, we could never get the active pen to work. I figured I was not the only one with this problem and have been looking for an update to resolve this issue. Nothing. For now I am using a passive pen. Is anyone else having the same issue?? I cannot believe HP would package a pen that they knowingly understood that it did not work with the laptop. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I came across your post and would like to assist. 

 

I understand that the stylus pen that came with your HP Spectre x360 is not working. I appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting this issue and have certainly done a good job.

These steps help in fixing stylus operational issues.
