I have a hp pavillion 360. The touchscreen can be turned into a tablet. When I use it in the tablet mode and try to enter the pin the virtual keyboard with the numbers doesn't come up, I have to use the fisical keyboard. I've tried to remove the pin and use the password in letters but doesn't come up that keyboard neither. What can I do?

@Lauren_Isabel,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are not getting sound over HDMI when connected to your TV.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • What is the exact model for your computer?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?

While I wait for the answers, I recommend you check if you have enabled tablet mode in the Action Center.

1. Click on Action Center icon on the Taskbar.

2. Then tap on Tablet mode

Also, check the keyboard settings and check if it helps.

1. Tap on Start Menu.

2. Tap on Settings.

3. Then hit on Devices.

4. Tap on Typing.

5. Then tap on Automatically show keyboard.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!

"I reviewed your post and I understand that you are not getting sound over HDMI when connected to your TV"? I never said this. Anyways, my computer just had an update and the keyboard now is working. Thanks.
