Probook 440 G7 Brightness Hotkeys not working

HP Probook 440 G7
Linux

Hi guys, I am running the Probook 440 G7 with Ubuntu Mate 20.04 and I am experiencing difficulties with brightness hotkeys, as they both seem to be mapped to activate/deactivate the microphone input. I tried with xev to get the key codes to maybe write a script or something myself, but the media keys seem to be handled by ACPI and thus has no keystroke to map to something. All the other Hotkeys like Volume Up/Down or Sleep are working perfectly fine.

Anybody else encountered this issue and has some ideas, how to get it to run, or do I have to wait for HP to provide new ACPI drivers for linux?
