HP-11 p100na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Restored WIndows 10 on HP-11 p100na need driver for HID Compliant touch screen, checked HP driver area for this model and nothing apparent to down load.

No hardware issue with PC as touch screen was working fine before doing restore. Restored PC as its is being sold.

Thanks

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchscreen is not working on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

The touchscreen uses the Windows built-in drivers and there is no specific driver from HP. Meanwhile, I recommend you install all the Windows updates (Including optional) and check whether the issue is resolved.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Select the Start (Windows) button from the bottom-left corner.
  2. Go to settings (gear icon).
  3. Select the Update and Security icon.
  4. Choose Windows Update tab in the sidebar (Circular arrows)
  5. Select Check for updates. If there is an available update, it will begin downloading automatically.

If you continue facing the issue, then follow the steps in the below article.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If the steps I shared didn't do the trick, it would confirm a hardware malfunction and I recommend you contact support to check the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Cheers!

Hi Fossett

i disagree, touch screen fully working before restoring Windows. Tested after upgrade in UEFI (bios) confirmed  working. My theory is there is an incorrect driver in place loaded by Windows which is stopping Windows detect it is a touch screen machine.
