Solved!
Screen Brightness over time
12-03-2020 09:45 AM

Hi,
I've bought this HP Omen 15 Inch laptop about a year ago.
The problem is, the screen brightness lowers over time, and there is no way to turn it back up again.
It's nothing with the settings, brightness is turned all the way up.
When doing a factory reset the problem solves itself, but it comes back over time, no matter how much I try.
I'm tired of making back-ups, any way to fix this permanently?
Thanks in advance,
Thibaud

I reviewed your post and I understand that the screen brightness turns down automatically.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
BIOS: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111001-111500/sp111190.exe
Intel: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105001-105500/sp105454.exe
Nvidia: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp106001-106500/sp106167.exe
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
