@FrancoR1995, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the screen brightness!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand that the brightness on your HP Laptop PC 15s-fq2000 isn’t working. Let’s start with some basic troubleshooting to fix this.
Adjust Brightness Settings:
- Try using the brightness keys (usually F2/F3 or F7/F8) while holding the Fn key.
- Go to Settings > System > Display, and try adjusting the brightness slider.
Check Power Options:
- Open Control Panel > Power Options, select your current plan, and click Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings. Look for Display brightness and adjust it.
Update Display Drivers:
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Expand Display adapters, right-click your graphics driver, and choose Update driver..
Can you tell me if the brightness is completely stuck, or does it change but not as expected? Also, did this issue start after an update or any recent changes?
Take care, and have an amazing day!
