HP Spectre x360 Laptop - 15-eb0053dx
Microsoft Windows 11

My backpack fell off a chair.  It is padded so I was hopeful that the laptop was fine.  The screen is completely dark, but the laptop still works when connected to external monitor (even the touch screen still works -- even though I cannot see what I am "clicking").

Is this a done deal or does anybody think there is a way to get the screen to work again?  I've tried everything I can find online such as particular types of reboots.  Drivers are up to date.

Seems like a hardware issue for sure, but not sure it is fixable.

Any thoughts?

Hi @Stroz

I advise you to contact a technician, probably the flex cable has moved a bit but you have to open the laptop and the screen to secure the cable.
