Screen broke won't be covered

Envoy 15t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Have a 3 month old envoy for my wife same one I bought myself and my daughter
Opened the laptop and heard a crack
Screen was slightly popped out and was cracked
Spent over an hr with service and they want about $315 to repair/replace despite prior posts showing that hp did honor warranty and ultimately replaced the screen
Need help from corporate
