Screen broken?

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. Last night i did a update on Windows and after that turn off my laptop. Today when i started it the screen is broken, whit white, blue and purple stripes in the middle of the screen.  No one have tuched my laptop sence i turned it off.

Dont know how i can post a picture here to show you.

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

 

Have you tried checking with an external monitor does the issue persist?

Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?

 

If the issue persists on the BIOS page it is a hardware issue with the display.

 

If the issue does not persist on the BIOS page try updating the graphics, chipset and BIOS on the PC to the latest version.

 

Uninstall the graphics driver from device manager and install the latest version of BIOS,chipset and graphics drivers on the PC using the HP support assistant.

Hi. Yes its a hardware issue. Dont know how it happened. Is it possible it have been a pressure to the area on the lower screen where it says ”Dont touch” (i open it up after the screen broke).?
