HP Recommended
HP OMEN 15-CExx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am facing the problem of screen flickering & low brightness since the day i bought my laptop. Initially i thought that it will be resolved after updating drivers but nothing changed and still the problem persist.

i tried many different ways like updating bios and once i renewd my window also, initially the problem got resolved but after updating drivers everyting changed back to as it was before.

Hi @AHMADBZAHEER,

I'd like to help!

To better assist you -

  • Have you reinstalled the battery drivers?
  • Did you check the power plan option/settings to change how the screen functions based on the battery or adapter connections?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

  • Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%.
  • Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins.
  • Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager,
  • Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.

If the issue persists, try the below steps:

Follow this path, Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings and move the slider to the right corner (full brightness).

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
