Product: HP 655 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

When the power cord is unplugged on this laptop, the screen dims.  I have tried every possible power setting combination and it will not change it.

Hi,

 

In power settings do you have brightness at max for on battery and Plugged in?

Yes.  I tried that.  I also set "dim the display" to never.

Can someone please help answer this, I have the same exact problem & I cant find any solution besides the one already given which does absolutly nothing to help.
