Every now and then when I computer wakes up from sleep, the internal display flickers so bad you can't read anything on the screen.  If I connect an external display, the external monitor is fine.  I have done ALL of the tips that are out there.  I have updated Windows, updated the drivers, changed the refresh rate, etc.  Today it really started to be bad and is making my laptop pretty much unusable.  I installed a BIOS update that was in the HP help center and even while the laptop was in BIOS mode it was still flickering.  The computer is only a few years old and I don't really have the funds to replace it.  Is there any hope or am I out of luck?  I am leaving the country for a few months for work and I really don't want to be without a laptop while I am gone.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
