I have a Dv7 4060us laptop that just about now is a yr. old,it will power up but my screen will not come on.
And when I contacted hp customer service as usual I got the run around, All they told me was it could be a software, hardware, or even the motherboard problem.Does anyone have any answers as to why this is happening? I also contacted a computer repair place and I was told that this model of laptop is on a defect list.
This is the 2nd hp I've owned that has taken a HUGE CRAP!!!!!!! only difference is the other lasted slightly longer,
they also said should consider getting together w/ a class action lawsuit against HP since they don't want to hold up to their end of a warranty. At this rate I will never purchase another hp computer again, because they can't even give descent customer service support but yet they want us to continue purchasing their products.
