Spectre x360-15t and Dell U4320Q external monitor

HP Recommended
Spectre x360-15t-df100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased a Dell U4320Q monitor and tried connecting to my HP Spectre x360-15t via usb-c port and there is no display on the external monitor. As per the specs of the laptop (see below) it supports display over usb-c port.  Any idea why it is not working or am I doing something incorrect?

Specs:
2x USB Type-C™ Thunderbolt™ 3 (supports HP Sleep & Charge, DP1.4, PD 3.0, Data Transfer); 1x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge); 1 HDMI; 1 headphone/microphone combo.

Thank you

@Ajay61

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

  • Have you tried with different cables?
  • Are you using USB-C adapter to HDMI port or display port?

As per spec your computer can export video output via USB-C to DisplayPort:
2x USB Type-C™ Thunderbolt™ 3 (supports HP Sleep & Charge, DP1.4, PD 3.0, Data Transfer); 1x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge); 1 HDMI; 1 headphone/microphone combo.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
