HP Pavilion 15-cc1xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Pavilion 15-CC1xx.  It has the GE Force 940MX. It has one HDMI port, 2 USB, and 1 USB-C port. I am trying to run two dual monitors besides my laptop monitor. I have one monitor plugged into my HDMI. I purchased this external video card https://plugable.com/products/usbc-6950-dp/  to plug into the USB-C so that I could plug in the other monitor. The drive fails a lot. My computer says USB drive cannot be recognized.  Before Pluggables support team had me update the driver for that to the newest, It would work for a day and sometimes up to a week before my computer would say it can not recognize the driver and I would have to restart my computer to get it to recognize. Now that the driver for the pluggable has been updated it fails like 15 mins. It drives me crazy. Does anyone have any suggestions to run the two external monitors? Can I plug one into the HDMI and run a USB-C/HDMI cable to the other or will the USB-C not run the monitor without an external video card?
