Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-es0000 IDS Base Model

I recently purchased a new 15 ft 4K HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my TV. The previous setup (10ft) worked fine. When I attached the new cable, the TV says No Signal. The external monitor is detected on the laptop, but I don't seem to be able to do anything in the Display section of the Settings app.

 

I have tested the same new cable with my older MAC, and it works fine.

 

Any thoughts? Things to try?

Did you know the length for 4K HDMI is limit to 10Ft or 3meters ? 15Ft simply won't work on your machine. You Mac machine may have different version of HDMI port.
