Hi @gsarora,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP ENVY x360's touch screen isn't working and you see a "No HID Touch Screen Driver" message, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue.
Check Device Manager
- Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.
- Look for Human Interface Devices. If the HID-compliant touch screen is missing, it could mean the driver isn't installed or the device isn't recognized.
Reinstall the Touch Screen Driver
- In Device Manager, if you see HID-compliant touch screen, right-click on it and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.
Update Drivers
- Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your specific model.
- Install any available drivers for touch input.
Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates. Sometimes Windows Update includes necessary drivers.
Run Windows Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter.
BIOS Update
- Check if there’s a BIOS update available for your laptop on the HP Support website. Follow their instructions to update the BIOS, as this can sometimes resolve hardware detection issues.
Check for Physical Damage
- Ensure there’s no physical damage to the screen or connectors.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
