Product: Pavilion x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There's no obvious DVD or CD drive on the Pavilion x360, and nothing stated in the user manual.  What is required to play a disk in this laptop.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the PC query. 

 

As x360 is a convertible model, it does not come with an optical driver or a CD/ DVD driver. But here's what you can do, you can connect an external optical drive to pay the CD/ DVDs.

  I searched everywhere for that simple answer and never saw reference in the X360 manual.  Yesterday a friend informed me that most of the newer laptops no longer provide them.
