Hello!

A few months ago, I was having some major issues with my touchscreen. There was a "phantom" touch all the time, typically in the bottom right corner, and it kept opening random windows or would click on tabs without me doing anything, and it became impossible to do anything. I somehow managed to get to my device manager and disabled it. Now, I have found myself needing that feature back, so I tried to re-enable the touch screen, and to no surprise, it was still a pain in the butt, so I disabled it again. I decided to do some more research on how to fix the issue because it has been 9 months since I last looked into the issue. I found a thread that paralleled mine, so I followed the suggested steps. I did the Touch Pointer Test on the PC Hardware Diagnostics and the touch screen didn't react at all. Then, I logged into my laptop and the touch screen stopped responding completely. There was no longer a "phantom" touch, there was just no touch. I tried uninstalling the driver, then reinstalling by restarting my laptop. I tried updating the driver and updating my laptop and still, nothing has worked. So now, no part of my touch screen works.

Thanks in advance for all your help!
