Hi HP Community

The problem starts a month or two ago. When I touch the touchpad, the cursor moves to right/left top corner almost instantly and stucks there. Thus it is impossible to use the touchpad. I have tried both HP PC Hardware diagnostics Windows 1.6.4.0 and HP Virtual assistant, however the first cannot perform the test (error code "cancelled"), and second asks me to use the system settings I don't have on my PC.

Additional info:

The touchpad works perfectly in BIOS.

I am still able to enable/disable the touchpad.

It is also all ok if I plug in the mouse.

I also have problems with my keyboard (caps lock is randomly on). I suppose these are different problems but would like to mention just in case.

Thanks

Lana
