Hi. I'm using a question but really want to reply to all who seem to be having an issue with the touchpad glitching/being insensitive/erratic/unresponsive etc. 

 

I had the same issues and the only way to 'was to either reboot or just use a WIFI mouse and leave the trackpad alone.

 

My unit was new and the issue started barely 2 days from receipt and box opening. I tried reinstalling drivers etc., to no avail. In the end I contacted the HP support and raised a fault ticket  and they very professionally ran through some diagnostics checks and found that there was an error from the Trackpad. They booked in an engineer very quickly and he came and replaced the trackpad.   I'm two days in from the trackpad replacement and have not experienced the issues I was having with it before. Fingers crossed the trackpad is fixed, but I am keeping an eye on it. I have not closed the ticket as yet.
