Product: HP EliteBook 840 G3 Notebook PC

After a motherboard dysfunction, I bought a used board, and after assembly found the touchscreen no longer worked and wasn't detected. The product ID has changed after the swap and the serial id. No options for the touchscreen in the BIOS or diagnostics. Is it possible to modify the BIOS flash to allow touchscreen?
