Product: HP ENVY 17t
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently purchased an ENVY 17t laptop and have connected it (wired) to an external monitor.  Both monitors are working with the laptop lid open.  I want to be able to use the laptop using the external monitor with the laptop lid closed.  I have tried selecting display 1, display 2 and duplicate display functions in setting but each time I close the laptop BOTH displays turn off and go into power saving mode.  Just trying to make this work with the external display on when the lid is closed.  Thanks!!!
