Elitebook 745 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I use an Elitebook 745 G5 for work. For months I've been connecting an external HP Monitor (P223) to it. I connect it using the display port in the monitor to the USB-C port in the laptop via a USB-C to Display Port adapter. After an overnight update, the monitor stopped responding and I started getting a driver issue message. Suddenly a blue screen popped up and I had to reformat my computer. After everything was re-installed, the usbc still doesn't recognize the monitor. I do see a "Billboard Device" under devices but nothing happens with the display. The current windows version running in that computer is 1809. As I mentioned before, the display had been working perfect for weeks previous to this issue. Please assist. Thanks.
