Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1003ua
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I have an HP 15-ec1003ua (Ryzen 4000 + Nvidia 1050 3GB) which I want to connect with 2 similar LG monitors: the first one with hdmi to hdmi connection, and the second one with a type-c to hdmi connection.

The problem is that hdmi to hdmi is perfectly works (which is expected) but type-c to hdmi is not.

The cable I use is similar to this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CHOETECH-USB-C-to-HMDI-Grey/dp/B07L9RT3N1
and it perfectly works with my another Intel based laptop (with an Nvidia card as well).

All necessary drivers installed.

Please help 🙂

The specs of your machine is

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06702557

It only has  1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does not support Alt mode therefore USB-C to HDMI cable (any) won't work.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products:

or try following HP docks (you can select HP before Search)
