Hi everyone, I would like to know whether someone knows if it's possible to upgrade my display (code: 750635-001, 1366x768 HD+) with an IPS FHD one. I think that i need a 40 pins panel and a compatible cable but I don't know where I can find this stuff.

The notebook name is HP 15-r100nl, thanks in advance.

The problem is not the panel, but the cable from the motherboard to panel. Most likely the motherboard will not support an FHD cable as none in the series had such a cable.

Hi,

I believe it is not possible, as all the models in that series came with HD panels and none with FHD panels. So you will not find the necessary parts (cable) as they will not be available.

Service manual (page 21):

Hope it helps,

David

Thank you very much for your fast reply. Based on the fact that there aren't fhd models in the 15-r series, is it possible to find some other models with panels compatible with my notebook?
