I have my work surface with 2 aditional monitors, and today the screen that is connected through the USB-C port stopped working ( connected with an HDMI adapter). I've been making everything from the internet but nothing works, not ask me to turn off and hold the power button for 30 secs pls.
I have updated, install and reinstall all the drivers but nothing works.
I have switched the cables and they are ok, I have use a DP adapter to check and nothing, I have tested if the monitor failed and it has not.

Solution (For me):
1. Disconnect everything from the PC ( USB Devices, Power Sources)
2. Open the bottom case.
3. Disconnect the battery carefully to not touch the board ( It does not mean that touching the board will break it. But as an electronic engineer I recommend not doing it due to the static electricity).
4. Press the power button of the PC to discharge every capacitor ( Hold for 30 secs).
5. Re-assembly and test.
Notes: First time I did it works but once I re-assembly everything it failed again. I suppose the devices I connected on the left pannel drained too much current ( It does not have too much sense) and it did not allow the DP to work properly, assuming that DP consumes too much current. so probably in the boot order, it is the last thing to activate so, once it enables other devices the DP does not have enough current to start. So I connected the mouse and keyboards on the right side, and it worked at least until the de moment. At least I figure out that if it happens again I should do that ( It sucks)
Why I did that?
I read much-accepted responses where the users said that holding the power button worked for them, actually, it had too much sense to me. But it didn't work, so, I also read that in other hp products, this recommended solution change in base on the battery if it is removable or not. For Victus is not, so I thought that even disconnecting the power cable it would still have energy even if the power button was held for whatever quantity of time. If the idea was to discharge capacitors we should not have any power source.
Note 2: If you do not feel secure about opening the pc I recommend going to hp support or to ur near technical service
