Hi there,

 

My computer is unable to display video or playback audio smoothly, both freeze and stutter, which renders both unplayable. I've tried running troubleshooters with no issues detected. I've tried running games on the lowest possible quality, again with the same issues occurring.

 

Can you provide some help?

What is the exact model number of the HP PC you are using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the product details.

Have you tried using different media applications and check if the issue persists?

Do you have the same issue while on youtube?

 

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Perform a clean boot on the system. Here is a link with instructions on how to do a clean boot.

 

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

 

Also, check for any pending Windows update.
