Hi @tag61,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I Understand your concern and don’t worry I’ll take care of this for you.

I completely understand how important it is to feel prepared and confident before a virtual interview

Let’s walk through this together.

Most HP desktop computers with Intel Core processors do not come with a built-in camera, since the CPU itself doesn’t include one. Typically, cameras are built into HP laptops or all-in-one desktops, but not standard tower desktops. To help clarify, could you share the exact model, serial number and product number via Private message ?  That will let me confirm whether your system has an integrated camera.

In the meantime, steps you can try:

  • Check the device manager: On Windows, press Windows + X → select Device Manager → look under Cameras or Imaging Devices. If nothing appears, your desktop likely doesn’t have a built-in camera.
  • External option: If your desktop doesn’t have one, a USB webcam is a simple plug-and-play solution. Many webcams also include built-in microphones, which can be helpful for interviews.
