HP x360 310 G1 Convertible PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The touch screen worked perfect with W8.1. After upgrade to W10 there is no touch anymore. Can't believe MS or HP is not capable to make the job. Please arrange!

Kind regards Petter Almhagen

Hello @pa36651

Your Notebook "HP x360 310 G1 Convertible PC"  is not HP certified for Windows 10/11, you have to go back to Windows 8.1 !

Upgrade to Windows 10/11 is uncertain, instability and driver problems are to be expected.

Latest software and Drivers are for Windows 8 (64-Bit) only:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-x360-310-g1-convertible-pc/6943758

(1) Before we start, create a windows restore point ! Very important !

https://www.howtogeek.com/797227/how-to-create-a-system-restore-point-on-windows-10-or-windows-11/

(2) But, you can try to install the follwing driver:

Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver

10.18.10.3366 Rev.136.4 MBFeb 21, 2014Download

Synaptics TouchPad Driver

18.0.4.81 Rev.145.1 MBFeb 21, 2014Download

(3) Reboot and test

(4) If this fails you can decide to keep Windows 10 or go back ...

Microsoft's documentation: Go back to Windows 8.1

Select the Start  button > Settings  > Update & Security  > Recovery.  Under Go back to the previous version of Windows 10,Go back to Windows 8.1, select Get started. By following the prompts, you'll keep your personal files but remove apps and drivers installed after the upgrade, plus any changes you made to settings.
