HP Spectre Pro x360 g2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The webcam is not working on my HP Spectre Pro x360 g2.

1) I do not have a kill switch, so that's not the problem.

2) I can see a camera aperture at the top of my laptop so I know it has the webcam hardware.

3) There is no webcam listed under "Imaging Devices" in the device manager. There is also no camera listed in the device manager. I shut down, unplugged, and rebooted and it still isn't there.

4) I looked for webcam drivers on the HP website. I found the drivers for my laptop but there are no drivers for a webcam.

5) I updated the BIOS and that didn't help.

6) I downloaded HP PC Hardware Diagnostics and to run a "component test" but webcam is not listed under components.

I feel like I've tried everything with no luck. If you have seen this before and you know what the problem is I'd really appreciate the help.
