Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible Laptop PC 14-ea0023dx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
My laptop started doing something quite annoying:
If the screen turns off due to inactivity while on battery power, it will not turn back on until it is plugged into power. The device is still on, and still makes sounds, but the display stays black. Plugging in power then immediately unplugging it resolves the issue.
As a workaround I have had to set it to never turn off display on battery mode, which kills my portability and battery life.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
