My Elitebook 840 g8 gets used partially under windows, but largely on linux.
i use Windows 11 for the handful of proprietary software I need for creating art.
However, Linux is the OS I do almost all of the actual creating.
The problem is the colors. They’re so different on the laptop display from what my Acer produces, I seem to have essentially lost portability.
Meaning I could’ve just bought a desktop for a much lower cost..
But I need that portability, and I’d love to be able to continue to make stuff while I’m travelling.
I don’t particularly care for the idea of buying some bespoke colorimetric device for two displays and then never use it again, so I’m wondering if there’s an ICC profile I’m missing or something.
thanks!
