Product: Probook G4 450
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have an external CD/DVD drive but my laptop will not see it. When I bought it, it said it was plug and play and I would not need a driver but my laptop will not see the drive. Can anyone tell me which driver I need to download from the Support Site to try and make this work? Thank you

What is it ? Normally should be P-n-P but please ask vendor (not HP) to give you its software/driver.

Hi - thank you for your advice. I communicated with the seller of the drive but all they suggested was to download a driver update program - Useless!

 

I eventualy gave up and bought a better drive from Asus that was also plug and play and guess what - it worked first time!
