Hello HP Community,

We have this laptop which has a screen which has a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Would the hardware of the laptop be capable of handling 144Hz external monitor and give us such refresh rate, or better?

Thanks!

Robert

Hi,

The HDMI port is

High-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) v.2.0 + HDCP 2.2 supporting up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz

Hope it helps,

David

Hi David,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm not fluent with HDMI capacity. So HDMI does not support over 60Hz?

Thanks!

But like this I still don't know whether this laptop can achieve a 144Hz refresh rate.

It has a HDMI, USB, and USB-C.

This it's hardware (graphics card, CPU, etc), can they give an output of 144Hz on an external monitor?
