HP ProBook 450 G4 IDS Base Model Notebook PC

I have an HP Probook 450 G4, which some with the following specs ; 
-i5-7200U
-Geforce 930mx
-16GB Ram

My question is that, I want to connect an external monitor to my laptop and dont know which port is connected to the Dedicated GPU

The integrated GPU is soldered to the motherboard, so all the video jacks are connected to the motherboard and thus will be to that GPU. If there is another, more powerful, GPU that is connected through another card, that will not be the one that the output jacks connect to,

Which port is best in general? HDMI, VGA or Type-C ?

For video, HDMI -- as it carries audio and video signals.
