My laptop brightness is not working.

Hi:
Your notebook is not supported for 32 bit operating systems.
It is only supported for W10 64 bit, and most likely, the graphics driver is not installed which is why you can't adjust the brightness, change the screen resolution or have graphics acceleration enabled.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W8.1 32 bit graphics driver from the link below.
