Product: HP Laptop PC 14-dq2045cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop will not connect to an external monitor. Nothing happens when I plug in a monitor to it. I have tried going through all the settings and I cannot understand why it will not connect to another monitor.

The monitor is a HP 22cwa, I am trying to connect it through the C port. The laptop does not detect that anything is plugged into it and only asks if I want to look for a monitor wirelessly which I don't, that's why the monitor is plugged into it.
