Hi @Shruti14,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Laptop 14s is experiencing a hardware issue indicated by the blinking Caps Lock key. This usually points to a problem with the laptop's hardware, such as the memory, motherboard, or graphics card.

Here's a basic troubleshooting guide you can follow.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the laptop from any power source.
  • Remove the battery (if it’s removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the battery and power source, then turn the laptop on.

Check the Caps Lock Blink Code:

  • HP laptops often use blink codes on the Caps Lock key to indicate specific hardware problems. Count the number of times the Caps Lock blinks and refer to the HP website or your laptop’s manual for the specific blink code meaning.

Reseat RAM Modules:

  • If you're comfortable doing so, turn off the laptop and remove the battery and power source.
  • Open the back panel to access the RAM.
  • Remove and reseat the RAM modules to ensure they're properly connected.

Check for External Display Issues:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV to see if the issue is with the laptop's screen or the internal components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
