Display is not steady - it is blinking until youe have changed the angle of the lid.

😀😀😀Solution given by HP Support in Sweden, who contacted me on phone: Start the Chromebook, log in. Connect the charging cable to the Chromebook and to the wall outlet. Unplug the 220V plug. Repeat this "unplugging" 3-4 times. Voila! The image went steady. OK - it happens it "twinkles" a little now and then.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

This seems to be an issue with the LCD cable since the issue depends on the angle of the Lid

 

I suggest you contact HP Support for Service Options
